The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture is a special place.
We continue to honor the land-grant mission of research, teaching and outreach that changes lives. We are very fortunate to have had a good foundation laid by those who came before us. And, because of our loyal alumni and friends, the word is spreading across Tennessee and beyond.
The UTIA's Entomology & Plant Pathology Department is grateful to have been a part of your educational experience. Your ongoing support is essential for our continued success. Your gift to our department will help:
- Fund travel for a top student to attend a national meeting in his or her discipline
- Purchase laboratory equipment as well as support the research being conducted within the laboratory. For example, a $1,000 gift to the Medical & Veterinary Entomology lab would allow for 250 ticks to be screened for a pathogen
- Afford a hands-on research experience for an undergraduate student in a laboratory or field-based program within the department
Thanks to our donors, this is a time of unparalleled success for the Institute. With your support, we can achieve continued greatness.
