The College of Veterinary Medicine is celebrating its 40th Anniversary!
Through the years, the support and involvement of our alumni has helped us deliver outstanding teaching, research, clinical service and community outreach. Thank you for your loyalty!
The entire CVM community is very proud of our alumni, faculty, programs and facilities. Our students are outperforming their national peers on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination and the College has been reaccredited by the AVMA Council on Education. Our renovated and new facilities, the Equine and Farm Animal Hospitals and the John and Ann Tickle Small Animal Hospital, provide exceptional hospital environments for hands-on teaching and clinical patient healthcare.
The incoming Class of 2017 will be the first to work with a new Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs. Dr. Jim Brace, after 35 years of service, has retired from the University. We hope that you'll consider honoring his legacy and decades of service to more than two-thousand veterinary students who have walked our academic halls, by supporting the Dr. Jim Brace Scholarship. His scholarship will reward the most deserving students and support their learning opportunities.
I have witnessed greatness and learned anything is possible when Volunteers unite. Please join me and your classmates who support the College by making your first gift to the Dr. Brace Scholarship or the Fund for the College of Veterinary Medicine.
I hope to see you on campus soon!
With warmest regards,
James P. Thompson, D.V.M., Ph.D.
Dean and Professor
